2. Visiting this website (server log files)

When this website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically stores data in so-called server log files. These are generally: IP address, date and time of access, name and URL of the file retrieved, volume of data transferred, browser and operating system used, and the page previously visited.

This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless operation and the security of this website. This data is not merged with other data sources.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted with GoDaddy. The provider processes the data named under point 2 on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Provider: GoDaddy.com, LLC, 2155 E. GoDaddy Way, Tempe, Arizona 85284, USA

Server location: United States of America (data centre in Phoenix, Arizona)

The legal basis for this use is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable provision of this website.

4. Fonts

This website uses only fonts stored locally on our own server. When the pages load, no connection is made to third-party servers — in particular not to Google Fonts. No data is transmitted to third parties in this process.

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, your details will be stored by us in order to handle your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. Contact form

Through the contact form we collect your name, email address, optionally your company, the selected topic and your message. We use these details solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR together with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

7. Cookies and traffic measurement by the hosting provider

We ourselves do not use any cookies on this website for analysis or marketing purposes.

Our hosting provider GoDaddy, however, automatically includes its own script for traffic and access measurement, which is loaded from the domain img1.wsimg.com. This script sets cookies, among them _tccl_visit, _tccl_visitor, pvisitor and x-visitor-id, by which returning visits can be recognised. The script is inserted server-side by the provider; we have no influence over the extent or the timing of that insertion.

Insofar as personal data is processed in this context, this takes place as part of GoDaddy's processing on our behalf. A transfer to the United States cannot be ruled out in this context; the standard contractual clauses named under point 9 apply.

We are working to bring this insertion to an end.

8. Storage period

We process personal data only for as long as this is necessary for the purposes stated or for as long as statutory retention periods require. We delete enquiries as soon as they have been conclusively dealt with and no retention obligations stand in the way.

9. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Your data will only be passed on insofar as this is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations, or where you have given your consent.

In the course of hosting, personal data — in particular the access data named under point 2 — is transferred to the United States of America. The transfer takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR, which form part of the data processing agreement concluded with the provider.

We point out that the USA does not provide a level of data protection equivalent to European law and that US authorities may, under certain conditions, gain access to personal data.

10. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

To exercise these rights, a message to info@dagtech.de is sufficient.

11. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.

12. Changes to this policy

We adapt this privacy policy whenever our processing changes or new services are used. The version published on this page applies in each case.
